I've been out questing and haven't been to a major town or seen many players sense i'm still leveling. Well I finally went to do a BG on my Death Knight and I start out seeing some people lag.. Well as AV progresses I notice that more and more people are lagging. I get out of the BG and run down by the Org AH. Standing there I notice many different people lagging. Sense then I have tried going on different servers and noticing the same lag. No matter what BG I do, people lag around. I even went on this rogue to Grizzly hills and seen someone walk around on their mount and they started glitching in front of me. Byirujiwang Some details about this problem though, people do not lag at the same time. The problem is way more noticeable when people are on mounts but I will see walking people lag too. The problem seems to be happening to everyone I see eventually. Such as if I see someone run by my screen they might not lag, but if I follow them on my screen they will wow gold wow power leveling aion gold aion power leveling wow power leveling This week at the popular Consumer Electronics Show (CES as everyone calls it) our sister site Engadget was covering all the hoopla. Some exciting technology was unveiled that will allow theoretical 2 terabytes of data to be stored on a new SD card format called SDXC. An SD card is the kind of card you can put in your camera. Most desktop and laptops have wow power leveling drives built in these days, so you probably have access to one even if you don't know it The cards are great for storing pictures and other data. I've grwaihmmlf used a 2 gigabyte one quite a bit to transfer around files, and in particular relevance to WoW, large addon and configuration directories (the WTF wow power leveling folder in the root WoW directory). It's much faster to put the 150 megabyte of WoW configuration files onto the card and physically transfer it than to deal with a slow and shabby WiFi connection However with the introduction of this new technology an interesting prospect is raised: playing WoW off an SD card directly wow power leveling Panasonic hope to have a 64GB card available soon, and rumors are saying sometime around March. Of course the cards will be a couple hundred dollars most likely, but nonetheless when this happens I will be easily able to transfer my entire WoW directory onto the card and play it from there wow power leveling The speed of the data transfer will be such that it'll easily be able to handle WoW (which is itself based on five+ year old technology). And the added benefit of having to not update my laptop's game every time there's a patch or I change addons or configurations, which happens quite often in my job here at WoW Insider, will be more than worth the cost. wow power leveling One could argue that I can already do this with a portable hard drive, and they'd be correct. But those, despite their usefulness, are quite bulky and I have a personal way of breaking them more often than eventually lag. Now that i'm actually paying attention out questing I notice this lag too. I thought that it was people with bad pc/connections lagging before but now its seems like its my problem. This problem is just players, not npcs. I do play on max settings which can cause lag, but it happens if i'm sitting in a full Org at 35 fps or questing at 60 fps. I have updated drivers including Network drivers. I do play with a wired router, but ran straight to the modem and tested that way for a while with no improvement. I play with a latency from 100-300. I have not tried much beyond restarting my modem and computer a couple different times. I'm not sure exactly what you would need from me. So anything you do need let me know and I will have it up asap. Edit: The thing that I forgot to mention that this is a new PC, one that I pieced together from Newegg. E8400, 4850, 4 gigs of ram. But I really doubt that its pc performance here. If you want me to throw up a DxDiag for any reason I will. Other people lagging isn't a problem that you can correct. Well, not unless you want to buy them all new computers and better net connections... but that's just not feasible. :)
